About the Company
Apodixis Press publishes textbooks and teaching materials that are designed for bright people who process information differently.
Our Philosophy
When taught with the right approach, people with learning disabilities can achieve at a level that is appropriate to their intellect.
For that to happen, everyone in the individual's life needs to understand what learning disabilities are:
- How to identify them;
- How the learning disability changes the situation at home, at school or on the job; and
- How to alter presentations to create success.
Mom and Dad need to know. Teachers and employers need to know. And ultimately, the person with the learning disability needs to know.
Our products address these goals.
Meet the Creators
Jill Smith, B.A., M.A. and Howard Diller, M.D., M.P.H., develop, formulate and test all the materials for Apodixis Press. Through a collaborative writing and development process, they create new products. All products are field-tested and perfected in Jill Smith's clinic in Dallas, Texas, or with students in the Northern California public schools.
