These three student readers enhance ability to decode consonant-vowel-consonant words with a short "a" or a short "i."

Decoding (or sounding out) is a skill often poorly developed for learning disabled children who have auditory problems. These books are amazingly helpful when the student needs additional practice with the decoding and then the blending of three letter words with short "a" or short "i" before going on to master more vowel sounds.
