Meet Jill Smith, B.A., M.A.


Jill Smith has been a teacher at all grade levels, from pre-school through graduate programs from New York to California.

After completing her undergraduate studies at Wagner College with a major in psychology and her Master's Degree at Teachers College, Columbia University, Jill Smith's career has been focused on helping children and adults learn. Working within public school systems, private schools, colleges and medical school programs, she has developed successful teaching techniques to aid persons with learning disabilities.

In 1974, she established Smith Clinic which offers diagnostics, tutoring and school consultation for children and adults who have learning disabilities (or information processing dysfunctions).

Through her classroom teaching experience, work in Smith Clinic and participation in research projects, she has developed appropriate intervention programs which have been successful for learning disabled persons at all educational levels.

She and Dr. Diller were founding members of the non-profit organization, The Institute for Neuro Behavioral Studies.
