Hebrew Flash Cards
Each set contains 49 cards. The packet of flash cards (and the larger program of which they are a part, a program that includes books and computer programs designed to teach individuals to read Hebrew) provide all the Hebrew letters. The cards have the Hebrew letter in the top right hand corner and a picture of something in Hebrew that most Jewish children in the United States find familiar (the words Torah and Rabbi, for instance). Other flash cards for Hebrew do exist, but the majority of them use for a memory device a picture of a word that begins with that sound in Hebrew. If an American student has that much knowledge of Hebrew words, that student is probably well past needing to memorize the Hebrew letters.
